Virtual PC BSP for Microsoft Windows Embedded Compact 7 M icrosoft nnounced that early adopters currently testing the next generation of Windows CE will be able to take advantage of the Virtual PC BSP for Windows Embedded Compact 7 soon, although no specific delivery deadline was offered. Windows CE 7 Emulator and Programming. Which emulator to use depends on your desktop environment: If you are on Windows 7, the way to go is Microsoft Virtual PC. On newer versions of desktop Windows you can use Hyper-V. There's an emulator Getting Started guide here on MSDN. It's written for WEC2013, but will work for CE7.0 as well.
There is a new BSP coming with Windows Embedded Compact 7 (the public CTP is available on Connect): the Virtual PC BSP. This BSP allows to build a CE image for a virtual machine running in Windows Virtual PC environment (if you are running Windows 7) or Virtual PC 2007 environment (if you are running previous versions of Windows). a Virtual image disk is provided with the BSP that will boot into the Ethernet Bootloader eboot in order to establish a connection from Visual Studio to download and debug/test a CE image on the virtual machine.
You might have experienced this if you are playing around with this: you are building your OSDesign with the Virtual PC BSP, starting the Virtual Machine that boots into eBoot, establish the connection between Platform Builder and the Virtual Machine, then start the download of your image… when… boom, download fails leaving you with a message about a TFTP timeout error. This does not happen every time and I couldn’t reproduce it (reason why I don’t have any snapshots), but it seems there is some problem with Windows Virtual PC and the network.A colleague pointed me at a workaround someone posted on a forum. I couldn’t test it myself as I cannot reproduce the issue any longer, but let me know if you are facing this issue and if turning off UDP CRC checksum on the network card (the one the Virtual Machine uses) solves it.

I'm using Compact 7 and try to follow the steps in a book called 'Professional Windows Embedded Compact 7'. I managed all the exercises up to chapter 8 but now I'm stuck. Radiation therapy programs in ontario.
Chapter 9 is about Remote Tools. I build and deployed the OS as described in the book and everything is working fine but when trying to connect remotely, it doesn't seem to work. For example when using the 'Remote File Viewer' from the 'ToolsRemote Tools' menu, I select the target device from the 'Select a Windows CE Device' menu and it shows the 'Connecting to device' dialog but it stays there and never connects.

I also tried the Remote Profiling tool and other remote tools, they all failed to connect. Is there anything that I'm doing wrong or does this mean that it is not possible to use Remote Tools for a Virtual PC? Al kafi in urdu free download.
